Delivery Channel Director in Raleigh, NC

DESCRIPTION The Delivery Channel Director is responsible for directing and organizing the activities and systems involved with the delivery of consumer credit products to the credit union member, in the most cost-effective means, with the end result being increased efficiencies and increased member satisfaction. This position would require the expertise to network with outside vendors and peer groups to ensure industry leading technologies are being utilized as well as coordinating the efforts with internal business partners to ensure efficiencies and efforts are being maximized. This position would also work to develop business strategies and products that maximize the credit union's resources while limiting unnecessary business costs and within budgeted means. This would require Budget analysis to ensure cost effective measures are being exercised along with loan pricing analysis to ensure that consumer credit products are priced competitively in the marketplace while limiting risk and achieving Coastal's desired profit level. DUTIES *Portfolio Growth, Channel Development and Member Satisfaction. Develop portfolio and member base strategies to deliver Consumer Lending products. Recognize, recommend, and implement appropriate credit risk strategies which balance growth, risk, and return. *Vendor Management for Consumer Lending Vendor relationships. Coordinate projects, act as the key contact, and manage relationships with our credit card processor, home equity vendors, form and compliance vendors, and other similar relationships.*Product and Campaign Development. Recommend and champion product development, product enhancements, product elimination, margin or retention improvement actions and additional new revenue opportunities with a strong emphasis on implementing programs that grow the VISA card program in a safe and sound manner. Provides recommendations for new products and services, as well as adjustments to current. Ensure product enhancement and new product development process is aligned with the member/industry needs, organizational resources, and current strategies.*System/Core Conversion Administration. Handle all duties as they may relate to system administration, conversion of systems for Consumer Lending products, updates, testing, rate sheet administration, new product/promotion set-up, auto decisioning configuration, form administration, etc. *Analytics and Reporting. Collaborate closely with Consumer Lending business/reporting analysts to review statistics related to the card portfolio, member usage, and profitability. Research and integrate economic factors, developments, and trends into analytical models. Collaborate closely with Marketing staff to monitor product line and sales channel results and coordinate organization to meeting channel specific goals*Compliance and Policy. Stay abreast of all related legal and compliance matters as they pertain to Consumer Lending. Ensure that all internal procedures and policies are complete, documented, and appropriate. *Annual budget and operational planning. Acquire and apply knowledge of the business and consumer credit products within the context of overall credit union strategy. Develop annual plans and forecasts including identification of variances and development of corrective tactics as they develop (across both short and longer-term horizons.). Recommend programs to generate income or increase value to members. *Business continuity. Ensure that we have appropriate systems in place to achieve redundancy or back-up in the event of a disaster or down system*Training. Develop and deliver staff education and sales training in support of the program and product advocacy/sales expectations. REQUIREMENTS *Min of 3 yrs of similar or related skills, including analyzing consumer lending products, product development, development of marketing initiatives, segmentation strategies, risk management analysis and understandings of consumer credit compliance environments.*Effective communication expertise.*Equivalent to a 4-year college diploma in business management, finance, marketing, or other related position of study*Proficiency with MS-Office.*Must be able to travel independently and operate all types of general office equipment including a PC.
